Pronouns (คำสรรพนาม)


Pronoun (pron.) คือคำสรรพนามที่ใช้แท่น คำนาม นามวลี หรือประโยคที่แสดงสถานการณ์ใดสถานการณ์หนึ่ง ซึ่งทำหน้าที่เหมือนคำนาม ดังนั้นจึงทำหน้าที่เป็นได้ทั้ง ประธาร กรรม หรือส่วนเติมเต็มของประโยค

Pronouns (คำสรรพนาม) แบ่ง ได้ 6 ประเภท คือ
  1. Personal Pronouns (บุรุษสรรพนาม)
  2. เป็นสรรพนามที่ใช้แทนคน สัตว์ สิ่งของ (Proper Noun)
  3. Impersonal Pronouns (คำสรรพนามที่ไม่ใช่บุรุษสรพพนาม)
  4. คือสรรพนามที่ใช้เมื่อไม่ต้องการระบุจำเพาะเจาะจงว่าเป็น ใคร อันใหน สิ่งใหน
  5. Indefinite Pronouns (คำสรรพนามที่ไม่ชี้เฉพาะ)
  6. คือสรรพนามซึ่งเป็นคำที่ใช้แทนนามได้ทั่วไป โดยมิได้ชี้เฉพาะเจาะจงว่า แทนคนนั้นคนนี้โดยตรง
